So What have Black and Dreadnought been up too recently ?

Here they are helping out at a recent head & gripper up grade for Gunners new recruits .

Dreadnought: Hey Black look a new gripper supply fresh in !
Black : Fantastic - finally I met get a new set of grippers !!

No1 : Hang on Black - There are needy folks than you ! - You have a perfectly good pair of pinchers.
Black: But look No1 - I can't even point a pistol straight ! If I had maybe I would have managed to get out of that tight squeeze with the Sindy and Ken droids incident of 72 !!
Dreadnought: Come off it Black you loved that Sindy action !!- but hey No1 you have some say here we could up grade ??

N01 knows the heavy weight of Leadership - should he prioritise the new recruits over his old mates ? - He reasons Gunner would want some of his best agents to be on tip top shape for the forth coming Campaign against Drax and the evil Dragonians .

Come on then lets get cracking!

But after forty odd years Blacks pinchers are well lodged !!

Blimey had they invented superglue in 74 !!

Come on you two !! Put your backs into it !!

with a final heave it was out !!

The chaps re asses their method

No1: Come on lads we need to use the good old boiling water method .
Black: Are you sure ??
Dreadnought - come on, are you VAM or mouse ? _ I'll show you how its done

Dreadnought is finally pincher free

Dreadnought- Never felt a thing skip - that boiling water method works a treat !

Wow- Griptastic !! I can have a decent pint with Hank & Joe now or Jake and the crew in the Ammo Arms !!

Black takes the plunge.

Black:This reminds me of the bath that got too hot incident of November 1970- Did I ever tell you about that ?

Soon Black has both his old pinchers out.

Black: Do you think gunner will put these into the VAM hall of fame ?
Dreadnought - (sigh !!)

Soon Black is trying out his new look - he can't quite resist a pose !!

Black: (Thinks- draw Drax , draw !!)

Black : Is this my best side Dreadnought?... Dreadnought ? No1.......???- hey come back !!

The Guys look good and Dreadnought just loves the ability to get his hands on some new weaponry !

So finally Black has his new grippers !! lol! lol!

Looking good Gunner, custom hybrids on the march  Cool

I can't understand why Hasbro allowed for the less articulated MAM to be continued for so long, shame that, I class them as a poor mans' budget MAM, I have a few of them in my MAM nation.

No nightmares this end at all chris  lol!

I'm all for having fun with action figures in any way, it's a form of escape from the fast lane. I personally like to preserve the original MAM factory look for the future, and possibly hand them over to the 90's generation who had them back then, so they can relive the past again. I think I may have done a head swap in the past but can't remember exactly which one/s, I think it was probably between 2 MAMs, I do have about 4 MAM heads in storage somewhere, but I have no idea what happened to their bodies???? scratch

Dal, your custom Dr.X is probably the best one I've seen so far, I call him the card cheater of The BAM Arms lol!

Great update Gunner.

It's fantastic that Black and Dreadnaught have finally got gripper upgrades! It's such an emotional moment for the guys. The story even bought a tear to the eye for Joe and Hank.

Well it was more of an attack of the sniffles actually! lol!

As you can see from Joe's original body, he got a gripper upgrade years ago. In fact it was probably 1973/74. Well you couldn't have some Johnny come lately new gripper VAM being better than your top guy could you? I kept Joe's left hard hand so he could still punch hard!

I didn't have a strong drink when I read this, I had milk instead Laughing. I think it's just fabulous that your wanting to have a as may MAM & VAM in active service, working together Very Happy. I'm pleased that your convinced that Mam can play a part in the Munrovian ranks .

It's always a great idea to be doing a bit of a stock take and that you taken the plunge to finally sort out the random figures.

I DO LOVE my MAM and I didn't look away when I seen pictures of your transplanted Mam,Max Steel and Lannard bodies Very Happy.

I really really loved the the back left Dr X's heads onto Lannard bodies to make Dragonians command figures. The Dragonians Commanders look evil and loo just fabulous to me.

Muscle Beach figures

Yes the Muscle Beach boys look like they should be lying on the beach tanning themselves Laughing.

I'll be very much looking forward to seeing how you end up kitting out all these transplanted Mam with using all your existing spares, good luck and have lots and lots of fun kitbashing Wink.

PostSubject: SOTC/W Squad Germans starts to assemble...   Mon Apr 24, 2017 11:14 pm

Hi folks
just a quick update on The SOC Germans.

I've been using some Dragon/21C kit to give them hopefully that classic VAM look. I'd forgotten what a classic VAM look they have.
I'm trying to channel a bit of Lowtown's - just enough kit look as an inspiration

Captain

Out on operations.

Moving into position to set up a base of fire.

The classic "Airfix" pose

Hi Steve,
Black and Dreadnought are most chuffed they are even on Joe and Hanks radar ...however they have now stared to ask for 1/6th beer now they can grip a bottle...Is this a dangerous sign ???

Great figures, poses and photos Steve, excellent squad of Jerrys!!! Adding the Dragon weapons is a great enhancement. The outdoor shots are great!!!
