Ha! Melburnians are notoriously unreliable. There's a saying about that very city.
"Don't like the weather? Just wait a minute!"
It's THAT changeable.
It would be far quicker for them to drive to Perisher Valley or Fall's Creek which is in the very same state.
No one goes to Tasmania, ....except Chinese nationals looking to buy up all the real estate, (do they know something we don't?), or scientists still in search of the thylacine.

That's the way it is here in the East Tennessee Valley. One minute it's warm an sunny, next minute
it turns cold and we have snow flurries. Back in April 1986 we had a foot of snow one day, the next day
it was 60 degrees (F) and it all melted.

So we we have the saying "Don't like the weather, wait a half an hour."

And we rarely get snow. Most of the bad weather comes from the west, which has the Cumberland
Plateau, and to the east of us is the Great Smoky Mountains. That's why we are considered the East
TN Valley. The plateau breaks up most of the winter weather before it gets to us. Doesn't mean it
doesn't get bone-chilling cold here, but we don't see much snow.

I wouldn't be surprised if it actually snowed tonight - It's freezing ( for this time of year ).
Hasn't been much of a summer.
I'm in an elevated position just above Hobart - Don't get a lot of snow right here But. It's not unheard of.
Actually It did once snow on christmas day !

It's the same where I live. We actually had snow on Christmas this year, which is very rare!

However, "over-thinker" that I am, I have to wonder isn't she out in the daylight?    
Surely a far greater danger for her than freezing to death, 'cos like all vampires, they are already dead!

Thanks Allan. Pleased that you thought the snow outside pictures were Nice. The standoff pictures between Action Man and Gangrene are separate from the last shot of Professor Gangrene.
