| No electricity since 1 am this morning..and its unlikely to be back on before 18:00 tonight It's also very overcast and dark..so not much else I can do...so i took a pic of my diver. The wetsuit arrived today..but still a few bits n pieces needed. Thanks for the inspiration LeStryge _________________ NEW AND IMPROVED EXTENDED WORKSHOP COMING SOON

| If I knew you were after under water diving equipment I would have not given some away to the charity shop. I’m liking this picture though RT. _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

So.....major storm? Wind? Domestic failure? Or just an industrial issue? One thing I do know. In this modern world where everything is totally dependent on electricity, during an outage ALL the magic stops! And we just sit it out! Not that we get all that many, but electrical storms are frequent here in summer, so I went out and bought a portable generator! WONDERFUL in emergencies. Everyone else around is in darkness, my house is all a'glitter!) You may have to get SWMBO to shorten the legs of that wetsuit though! Having now bought my very first(and will be much treasured) VAM, when putting him with my platoon of MAMs, and trying to outfit him from the Q Store, can I just say....and PLEASE don't all turn on me now, ....can I say that he appears to be......to be....to be.....somewhat "vertically challenged"? Well if he's with his own kind you probably won't notice it at all, but against the MAMs he's definitely....OK there's no other way to say it. Here it comes. "SHORT"! There I've said it! Let the hating begin. - Rogue-Trooper wrote:

You are very welcome Rogue-Trooper! My own MAM in his rubber duckie has undergone something of a transformation since I posted the footage of him motoring about on the pool. I knew I had wetsuits in my stores, and gave him the first one I found, then later came across a yellow and black one that matched his craft! Do MAMs actually care about colour co-ordination? I also found a paddle. So necessary in case the outboard fails,(it even matched the black & yellow theme!) ....and I bought him a snorkel to complete his skin-diving outfit! It's just a small simple piece of plastic, ...but I won't tell you the huge damned price it cost me! (Well in truth the snorkel itself didn't cost all that much......but the bloody shipping did! OUCH!) Are we all collectively mad here?

| It turned out to be a corroded underground cable. I've been toying with the idea of a snorkel, but as you say...ridiculous prices for a tiny piece of plastic. Yeah the wetsuit seems to be a bit long in the legs.and short in the arms ....but as I do all the sewing in this house it can stay like it On a side note LeStryge...are you really 19 as your profile says ? ..you come across as much older and more mature than 19... just curious. _________________ NEW AND IMPROVED EXTENDED WORKSHOP COMING SOON

| I love the way you've given your officers a touch of grey in the hair. They look much more authentic, as though they've put in the years and worked their way up through the ranks.
The uniforms look snappy, as is appropriate. _________________ ... DAVE

Probably came about when I was registering for this site and it asked for age. Now I am a bit wary of posting too many personal details anywhere online so just shoved in year 2000 as a kind of default. Of course I had no idea that everyone's age showed up under their avatar on each and every post that they make! Still, as as a saying goes that just might have some relevance to all of us here; "Growing old is compulsory, it's growing up that's optional!"
