The thing is, these don't look like desk jockeys, but like officers who know how to handle themselves in the field. If the enemy tries anything, they'll likely regret it, and fast!

Yup....the plan is to take him to the beach at the end of August..if not before. Let's just hope SWMBO doesn't notice me packing him in my suitcase

It’s wonderful to see that your vam has got the surfboard and he’s testing it out even though it’s on dry land rather than water. I’m also enjoying the outside picture.

Wow, I can relate to this. Been there, done that and I would have gotten away with it if I hadn't tipped the figure into the drink and had to lay him out to dry. Definitely got twigged then and she wasn't pleased to be sharing her holiday with some figures. And after I was so careful not to get caught setting up and taking the pics. To get busted at the eleventh hour...funny how women get about these things.

I have noticed a common recurring subject here, and that's the various forms of spousal disapproval and the lengths gone to in order to conceal, or gain approval for taking your men anywhere, or buying more kit.

Is this yet another form of the old "My wife doesn't understand me"?

The actual tent itself came as you see it. It had a plastic base and poles, but the poles were all broken and the base didnt look very realistic at all. So I made new poles and guy ropes....bit of measuring,  but mainly made up as I went along.

My missus has kind of come round to the idea, but it's taken many years..and I dont want to push it.

And yes I know that Duke's hair should be yellow, but it looks so artificial..so I went with standard blonde with 20% yellow added. In hindsight maybe I should have gone with 40%, but I'm happy with him.
Just got to decide on unis for them now.

They all look great Chris! I think you made the right choice, Duke's hair looks like it was meant to be and not the 'in your face' yellow it comes as standard! He looks a lot more natural. I shall look forward too seeing whch way you go when kitting them out. Also, I have to say, mam heads looks so much better flocked, especially with a beard

I'm thinking this fella would look good all in black..to accentuate the white hair n beard. ...but what about his eyebrows?? Leave them black ? Or paint them white ??
