Apart from using the drawers I had planned to build the desk from scratch.  The mock up was only meant to give me an idea of size and height for the desk, but I kind of liked the look. I'm toying with the idea of using this as the base for the desk...but I haven't really decided yet.

Everytime I see those wonderful books you've made I am sorely tempted to do some for myself!
They do look so good!

And now that we're all "self-isolating" I guess I'll have plenty of time to do so.

Got to keep busy so maybe all our troops might actually come off best out of this crisis?

You should. They are a bit time consuming, but worth it. I'm hoping they will fill a shelf or two.

You may find many of them have now been pressed into another use!
For instance even I can see that those three books sitting on the desk under the remaining toilet roll have had all their pages surreptitiously substituted with corrugated cardboard already!

Start the interrogations immediately!
I'd begin with that apparently uninterested bloke by the door. There's got to be a very good reason he's NOT vying for the last roll?
(Or maybe it's that pushy dame of yours?)

You could of course order a full kit....REPEAT that's "KIT" inspection !!!

Impressive group of figures. I wish these were the guys who were really on the job to straighten things out and put the world back in order.

Ha! We were joking around about rinsing Phicen figs in kerosene or turpentine on 'chat' today. Coronavirus fears and all.

Then followed up by a few minutes of sterilization on the HIGH setting in the microwave....yes?
Should get rid of any viral contamination.

Oh, man! I wish I could afford to try that! While video-recording the process, of course! Phicens have metal skeletons! I bet zapping one in a microwave would create an awesome explosion of sparks from the inside out!
