| I’ve got a World Peacekeeper green bunk bed and I haven’t got any Pillows for it so I’m asking dose anyone suggest any ideas to make pillows or what’s good to use as pillows ? _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.

| I made some figure-size pillows a while back by cutting small blocks of styrofoam and glueing fabric around them. They're not military style, but that's basically a matter of fabric selection. I've done the same thing using cardboard instead of styrofoam. I recently purchased a World Peacekeeper bunk bed set. I haven't opened the box yet, so I don't know if it includes pillows. I might be making some myself. _________________ ... DAVE

| The World Peace Keepers set you bought contains TWO pillows. (Plus two thin foam mattresses and two blankets.) They are all army green in colour. (The set that has a figure included has just the one pillow, one mattress and one blanket. Strange because it's a double-decker bunk. Wonder what the other bloke is going to use?)
But making pillows isn't really such a task. If you have some foam rubber of suitable thickness, cut out the pillow in the size you want. Making the slip is easy. Cut a long strip a little wider than your pillow insert, and two and a quarter times the length. Fold to cover the pillow and turn the excess back on the outside as the bit that folds over the end of the pillow. Pressing with an iron helps hold it in place as you just sew up the two sides, (simple straight stitch) and then turn out the right way and tuck in your insert, closing the flap over the end. Simple! |
