Subject: German half track Mon Jul 15, 2019 3:54 pm
German half track build This was a big pain in the bum to build I built the whole thing , painted it then decided the back part was to high , so cut it down and repainted it. I had sloped the sides all the way up , it didn’t look right , so I changed it to straight sided then sloped at the top, repainted it. Then the bonnet looked to have to big a slope so I cut it down and repainted it, Then decided the slope of the bonnet was still to high so cut it down and repainted it. Eventually it came out as I wanted it. Hope you like it as I will never be making another...

Impressive effort! Your dedication to detail, scale, and simply making things "look right" is impressive. I certainly would not have that level of patience.
Fun series of photos of the halftrack and crew "in action."

Thanks for the comments ... I’m glad t looked right in the end ... I really should spend more time planning things , I just get up one morning and think , right I’m going to make a. Half rack , and make it up as I go along Obviously I had a few photos as a guide , but that’s as far as planning goes .. I wish I had planned this a bit better as I made a lot of mistakes .... but I enjoyed building it ..
