| MacBeth: How do you like the new look? Blackwood: I feel like a secretary. MacBeth: Well, it's possibly permanent, so don't get too mopey. Shepard: Lads, you're back. Georgie: Yes, sir, we are. Blackwood: How did the uniforms hold up? Georgie: Great, except the holster keeps slipping down our thigh. Blackwood: Hmmm. Georgie: And there's no place for ammo. Blackwood: Quite. I'll have to see what I can scrape together. Blackwood: I'd like to make a few phone calls. MacBeth: Of course, dismissed. Shepard: What else is on the list from Command? MacBeth: Several things I'll hold a meeting in a few days. Rodge: Colonel, could I be an Adventurer, rather than a soldier? MacBeth: Of course, but why? Rodge: I don't think I'm a very good fit for Commando work. MacBeth: I think you're a better fit than you realize, Rodge, but I'll transfer you immediately. Report to Blackwood for a change of clothes. Rodge: Thank you, sir. | |

| Great uniforms and terrific posing to achieve realistic conversational stances.

| I wanna be an Adventurer, too!
Is that all it takes? Just ask?
Just to make sure, I'm wearing my khaki shirt with epaulettes today, and I just went to eBay and found a repro version of the old Adventure Team necklace medallion, the full-size version, in genuine cheap grey plastic, for less than two bucks, so I ordered it. (My brother had one when we were kids, but I didn't.)
So just like the Action Yankee guys, I'm simply gonna change my uniform and become... an adventurer!
Thanks for the inspiration, Team Action Yankee!

Not condescending in the least! I'm totally... well, mostly... serious! I did wear my "explorer shirt" today, and I did order an Adventure Team medallion through eBay (because, less than two bucks!), which I did look for after seeing this post! Now, the cool-looking "life-like hair and beard" may require a bit more effort. My hair could stand a reflock and my attempts at a beard have always been a scraggly mess. I'll be looking forward to seeing the new "adventurer" uniforms. _________________ ... DAVE

Those are awesome! I don't know what I got! Supposedly a "close reproduction" of the original club version, which I suppose would be either the second or the fourth one from the left. Is that third one actually metal? Might suddenly neeeeeed one of those! I was looking at the red and black version. I think I shall pick up one of those, along with the matching key ring and bottle opener. And yet again... AN AMMO TOPIC GETS DERAILED! _________________ ... DAVE

| L to R: Con Exclusive 'Counter Culture Adventurerc (reverse side is a peace sign); Wal-Mart Adventurers; Metal Club 30th/35th (Anniversary of the Adventure Team); Plastic Club 30th/35th; Sigma 6 Adventure Team; and Club Exclusive 1/6 scale AT Dog Tag. But SCU I believe is talking about a 1:1 scale dog tag Hasbro sent to kids that registered as Members of the GI Joe Club. | |
