| Great shots! Boy do our VAM get about as bit nowdays. I remember when a week's holiday down the coast in a caravan was the extent of their travels! _________________ Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. | |

| Fantastic scenery, and Spud has possibly the best Action Man / GI Joe scar ever! _________________ ... DAVE

Thanks guys for your kind comments. Spud was my very first Action Man in '75 or '76 (I can never remember the exact year). He was an EE Hybrid second issue sailor with a full beard. My enterprising sisters got to him with a Stanley blade from the shed or somewhere and 'shaved' him and gouged out the scar. Dangerous little minxes the pair of 'em !! They got total hell for using a blade without supervision. Anyhoo, Spud emerged 'changed' with Action Man PTSD. He's still the most important figure I'll ever own and I'd never attempt to change that face, they gave him instant hard man character. _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

| A genuine adventure tale behind the scar! Now that makes him even more cool! _________________ ... DAVE

This fella is a regular on many of our domestic trips in Ireland. Ireland eh? Did he go to a pub brawl? Thought they were a compulsory inclusion on any Irish tour! Kev, just looking at Spud in this particular shot, I have to say that whatever it is he's watching through his binoculars seems to be very......"exciting"? |

It's so frustrating, and embarrassing, when I overlook something so obvious in my own photos, and then somebody else points it out and I can't see anything else! _________________ ... DAVE

| Awesome Spud travel shots!!! They're all great! I really like the one in the creepy forest. What kind of trees are those? Nessie...good one, Barry. Somehow I get the feeling that if anyone is going to see Nessie it would be Spud. | |
