Hope you'll forgive my little addition?
Great stuff Barry. Addition completely endorsed and recognised for the stroke of genius it is !! Keep going with those! Thanks chaps for all your kind comments. These were taken in the Torc Waterfall area in Killarney National Park. Some very atmospheric and creepy bits of forestation around here. Notice how low the light is in the shots? Spud's travelogue will continue shortly. _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

| Spud does look well 'ard and a proper adventurer... entirely unlike 'monsieur le poseur' Metro VAM Tom K! Great outdoor pics in a great location... Let's get more outdoor travel adventure shots on AMMO. _________________ RalphMe? Well, I live life vicariously! My Action Man? Well, he lives life victoriously! See my photos @ Flickr | |

Don't be too hard on Tom K. He well knows the value of dressing to the occasion. A valuable asset to any man. - TheOneManKid wrote:

Indeed! I thoroughly endorse your suggestion. ALWAYS remember to pack your little man when travelling. |

| Couple more from our chap on his trip West. Here he is with an Aussie friend, Roger. Many of you will know Blues and Royals (James) from HQ Forum. Roger is a fix up figure of his who did a round the world trip last year-first stop: Ireland. The lads are in front of a huge megalithic Portal Tomb near where I live. It was built between 4000 and 3000 BC and that capstone on top weighs over 100 tonnes. This'll give more of an impression of scale. Rodge 'froze' on the rock face (turned to stone?) and Spud had to offer a reassuring hand. Time to come down methinks Easy Rodge, easy.. Phew !! _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

| Absolutely fantastic megalithic shots Kev! And that dolmen is so close to you too! Wonderful structures. One theory has it that they were originally covered with earth, (like a barrow) but it's not one I believe. Who would go to the immense effort to build something so monumental and visually impressive and then hide it? |

Thanks lads for your kind comments. Barry, what a fantastic example of a Dolmen. Any more info you can give us on it? Some of your chaps will certainly have to investigate that !!! _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

When you typed Spud's travels will continue soon, that means Spud will be setting off on his travels once again. Mmmmm I wonder were he’ll be traveling to next. _________________ I’m Dedicated to serving Professor Gangrene as One of His Loyal Minions.
