The Phicen Collection Begins!

Well, as we all know - it's all Dals fault! (and Steve)

I've started collecting some Phicen over the past few weeks with plenty of tips from Dal and Steve. Finally managed to get a few figures and outfits put together - which isn't easy!

How hard are these to dress!!!!!!  

The first one I put together was a military camouflage set that came already provided with a head, I put it on an S22A body.















Great detail on the outfit, just waiting for some weapons to arrive to finish this one off.

This one is a Super Duck head on an S33B body in a fitness outfit. This was probably the easiest one to dress so far!

The one thing I have found is that every head seems to be slightly different in colour but Phicen only make two different shades of body.

They look great Rich! As you say, very hard to dress, which is why mine don't usually wear much!

Re head/body colours I find you need to swap them around a bit until you find a good match. It's impossible to 2nd guess when ordering some head/body combos just work and others don't.

A great start Rich! we all need a few lay-dees in our collections!

This outfit was listed as Female Locomotive, Dal thinks it may be a Final Fantasy set. Really like this one, amazing detail.

The head sculpt is based on Natalie Portman and the body is an S23B





















Got some weapons coming to add to this set as well

Well - who doesn't like a sailor?

This head was a replacement for some bits I ordered that were out of stock, not sure of the make of this one. Body is an S21B

















I added the converse to this set, really like the quality of these.

Hank is now worried he'll soon become AMMO's 2nd favourite sailor but he has offered to splice this young ladies' main brace! Also it's strange a sailor would like a desert animal...I can clearly see a camel toe!

This was a shorts and vest set that I added another pair of converse to. The head sculpt is based on Emma Watson and the body is an S17B

The idea for this is one of my favourite ladies, Daisy Duke

Fantastic looking females into the BF HQ! they all look amazing! Yeah, they are difficult to dress, but well worth it! The head colours can be a pain, but as steve said, you have to match up the est way you can, not all of mine match in colour either.
I think poor old Hank is probably wondering around in a daze or even feverishly attacking skj credit card on enay as we speak!
Looking forward too seeing what other recriuits turn up! Fantastic start!

No worries Rich! waiting is the worse part!

I thought the hardest part was putting those outfits on and trying to look all and drool

A few more? There are five pictured here already! You're certainly diving in to this pool at the deep end! You'll have a full contingent of Agents for the Cavern Club to rival those of BAM-HQ!

That first set, the camo combat outfit, is that the CAT TOYS set?

I really like the looks of that "leather" tool belt on the "locomotive driver" set.

Yeah that's the Cat Toys set Dave, not a bad price considering it comes with the head as well.

We used to do a lot of group orders, GI Joe, Geyperman, Captain Action etc where I'd order one and Rich would order twenty!

Fantastic starting off point for your Phicen/TBL figures, Richard! You do jump in with both feet, I seem to recall you bought the Geyperman motor bike and figure sets......in every colour! You do it right!

They sure are hard to dress. I had a heck of a time getting those long striped socks on from the Santa's Sexy Helper set, I almost gave up a couple times. You get spoiled when used to the shiny, smooth plastic from the usual figures when you run into these they fight you every step of the way. But well worth it in the end and much more realistic.

This thread is already in the “non-vam and other 1/6th figures” section but a specific “phicen and other rubber dollies” section would be great and really make them feel they belong!

I do like to do large orders when I start a new collecting project, keeps me busy

I'm sure I was talking about Phicen boobs when I said that!!

Nice collection. About dressing these figures; I don't know if anyone has told you this yet, but if you wrap the legs and buttocks in plastic wrap such as Glad Wrap or Saran Wrap, or even the plastic from a plastic bread bag, it is much easier to dress them. The same goes for he arms. Once dressed, you can remove the plastic wrap from any part that is to remain visible or uncovered by clothing. It works, trust me.
