How long did constructing this model take? Is this something you'd work on in an on-again, off-again fashion over a period of months or even years? Or was it a project in which you completely immersed yourself in a succession of marathon building sessions?

Took quite a while, maybe a year if I remember correctly, as I was working at the time.
