Thanks all I`m hoping to build up a squad of four chindits and some japanese enemy to fight against,the outfit is a 40th second issue uniform I think the colour might be slightly different to the original.

Ak Henry Kano is probably the cheapest modern Jap that's easy to get. Originals are mainly US & Canada. Rarer here as they are joes.
Type in 1/6 figures on ebay & you should see Henry there. Who knows any other Jap called Henry? lol

I`m going to paint it realisticly VAM truth is I dunno yet.I`ve not gone for uber accuracy with this more a representation of the real deal.
I might go for a black finish and dry brush the details. What does everyone else think?

Only one way to go in my view Andy and that's straight up pure unadulterated VAM :-)

Andy. Can't remember if it were you, I've a very tatty training tower I'd like to repair. Did you do a guide on how to make spare lugs for joining the bits together. Was it hard? I've only really got use of my right hand I can steady things with my left but I can't feel it after my brain surgery so it's not so good with fiddly bits. If it was you and you did post a guide can you point me in the right direction.

Wow ! Andy, that really is coming along now mate, top job

Nice job. I find a matt black undercoat spray and some drybrush silver works everytime and the range of metal effects are consistantly good.
Keep at it, it will look excellent.
