Just waiting for this guy to turn up .. Put a in cheeky bid and got him from fleabay.... The box has the two bottom side flaps missing. But the rest looks ok I think I probably have all the parts to his uniform, but not sure of the exact type , hat ( find it hard to tell these apart) trousers , scarf , boots , belt etc... Also on what paperwork came with him ...what codes they are..? I presume a star card , gripping hands leaflet, and phrase sheet..? If any one has any of these and would swap or sell them, ? Any info much appreciated..

Great looking figure there!!!
I presume you will be looking for originals to keep it homogeneous ? There are a few original paperwork listings currently on t'Bay', but by crikey they ain't cheap. One I think was listed at £15.
I did pick up a nice 40th TC box and paperwork for 8 quid to complete a figure I have a week or two back.

I’ve been trawling through eBay......managed to get an original gripping hands leaflet l487 for a £5 so that’s a start... And I have all his kit from my spares after doing a lot of research on the forum and pictures from google , for the right type of jumper scarf trousers boots.....

Quick and impressive restoration! I'm sure this trooper is delighted to be back in uniform and ready for action again! Nice find, and superb save!

Great figure! A few years ago I got a talking commander from a US seller. He has a different uniform, no idea if it's original or not. The auction stated they didn't try the talking mechanism, which is the first thing I tried once I got him. Pulled the string and that was it. It didn't retract.
I think I found a guy here that can fix the VAM talkers. I've been meaning to send it to him.
Your commander looks great! Nice to see him back in form for action.
Daryl
