I took this picture in the summer, but I made the diorama about 14 years ago. I just wanted to share it because I feel it was really simple, but quite effective as a diorama. You can do small things to enhance a room made of posterboard like this. Just adding a window or baseboards or wallpaper can really add alot.

Fourteen years ago???? And you're still using the same basic room box? That's impressive longevity!

Honestly it sat on a table in my parents basement for most of that time. It might have been 2007 that I made it now I think about it.

But yeah 13, 14. Either way it just sat there unless I wanted to place dolls. Then it would come out to play.

I remember I actually found the foam, I was walking home and saw this bright pink chunk of foam in the ditch. My Mum made me clean it thoroughly before bringing it inside. Ah simpler times. 😂

Now I have the whole eight feet strips of foam in the Jeep.

I'm amazed that you have had posterboard for 14 years without it getting creased or crumpled.

Posterboard will crease if you breath on it the wrong way!

Great diorama Sarah!

Wow I’m just totally loving your simple diorama room. Thanks for sharing this RealSarahdactyl. I think one thing your missing in the room is a picture hanging from a wall but just my thought.
