Here is the latest set I've been working on. I still haven't decided whether it will be the Ammo Arms kitchen or an apartment kitchen. The kitchen units, cooker and oven are of course vintage Sindy items. The table and chairs are a little hostess Marx item. I found the set in a charity shop. The window is a custom made window I got from ebay. Tabi has already made herself at home.

The kitchen is looking fantastic! I love how bright and shiny the "stainless steel" sink is! Great choice of background wall covering. The window works nicely in this setting.
I think what really works for me is the realism suggested by the 1970s/80s style cabinets and brickwork, but then the black granite tile gives it the impression that somebody attempted to update or modernize the space in the 1990s, so the space has a hybrid sense of having evolved over time as different generations have called it their own.
The window gives the space a "home" or "apartment" look, while the side wall with the brick & tile looks somewhat industrial, so the space would work for either an Ammo Arms kitchen or a home or apartment kitchen/dining area.
Nice find on the Marx Little Hostess set at a charity shop! Marx was the distributor for Sindy items in the States for a few years, way back when. I wonder if there was some crossover, with Marx marketing Little Hostess in the UK as Sindy accessories?

Thanks Dave! I did ponder for a while on what wallpaper to use before settling on the tile and brickwork, pleased you like it . The window was a great find on ebay, it's actually 1/12 scale large bay window, but it's perfect for 1/6 scale. Still undecided where the set will be based, but good to know it works for both.

Fantastic!
I love the retro feel to the kitchen, oh and Hank said Tabi should make him a sandwich!

Cheers Steve! I didn't want to go modern, I wanted to try and keep the vintage feel but hint at modern. @ Hanks comment!

I actually liked Gubernatorfan's suggestion on the other forum: an apartment above the AMMO Arms!

A few more shots from the kitchen dio. Also, I recently found this reindeer outfit (made for a Christmas decoration elf) made by elves behaving badly, which you can find at amazon. I was surprised to find that it fitted a phicen really well! Enjoy the pics, guys

A few more shots of the kitchen diorama. I recently added a blind to the kitchen window . Here are a few shots of Jayden relaxing on her day off from missions.
