Afro Americans New Pics of neck Mod

Hello All ,
                   These figure will be joining my NAM Marines at some point . I wanted to increase their numbers some , and as I have a few uniforms to fill , that only have T shirts and Flak vests I went for a couple of relatively cheap Muscle bodies , along with a couple of Worldbox bodies which I must say I am quite impressed with . I brought 4 bodies and head sculpts in a hope I could mix match them to get good matches for heads to body . Here is how it went .

 1. I think most are basketball player sculpts , but I am not to worried of the origins , what I did find quite hard was finding clean shaven types . I put this head on a ZC toys body , I am quite happy with how it looks .





2. This sculpt went on a Worldbox AA figure , again I am quite happy with the look .



3.  Another sculpt fitted to a Worldbox body , again looks O.K. to me .



4. I ran out of luck with reasonable matches on this 4th head and body , the sculpt didn`t match to well colour wise to the body .
This is a Coomodel Body , with is a Mike Tyson Sculpt .  



If anyone has matched the Mike head with a good colour matching body , or the Coomodel body with  a colour matching head I would like to hear about them . I hope you find this post of some interest anyway . Most the neck inserts needed trimming to get a good fit .

I'd like to more african americans represented.


They seem so hard to find, thus my Blues Bar Diorama's 'all white band' and I'd love to see some seamless AF figures, but then there's the whole nother matching headsculpts.

Great work on the sculpts Chip! they all look really good. It's a shame that the 'Mike' head doesn't match, would it be possible to use a scarf of some type to hide the mis-matched colour and use gloved hands?

Thanks Sixshooter , Dal . The remaining body with the Mike head is a muscle body I had planned for a sleeveless top , so the plan was for the arms too show , hopefully something will come along sooner or later at more expense .

Great additions Chip!

I found a tutorial on 0neSixthFigures forum , about adding figures with necks to bodies that already have necks , I knew this sculpt would match well to the Coomodel body , so I threw caution to the wind and went for it . It`s not perfect but I can live with it . I might try and tidy it up later if I feel confident again .  Hope it`s o.k to share another forums name here , please delete if not .

This was fitting a necked sculpt , to a necked body , so the neck on the sculpt had to be trimmed . This is the third go I think . So I trimmed  " Nates " neck back a bit more . I don`t really want to risk cutting it back further , as there is no going back . But I think he is looking pretty good now . What do you guys think ?








I put pants and a Flak Jacket on him , he looked even better to me , but had put the camera away already , will repost when he is kitted up properly .
