Action Man climbs Dumyat - almost.

Action man was determined to get to the very top of Dumyat, but though he managed the steep rockface, he had to give up when he reached the overhanging metal beacon above it.









Another fine day except for a small dose of midges.

Very possibly the design of that cairn reminded Action Man of that old movie, The Wicker Man, and retreat seemed the wiser course of action.

The first movie of that name (1973) isn't TOO bad, but the later one with Nicolas Cage (2006) is an absolute stinker!

I was not aware of the remake. Sounds like perhaps I was better off not knowing about it!
