| Name ? Jim
Online name ? Inntruderr61
Location ? Tyrone, Pennsylvania USA
First vam/gi joe/mam or 1/6 figure ? Dark haired PH Gi joe Marine/ which I made him into a navy frogman...lol
Favourite figure now ? I love both the PH Gi joes and fuzzhead AT Joes equal. I guess I have no favorite as they are all special to me...
Most desired item ? Gi joe Desert Patrol Jeep set
What will you do with your collection as you get older ? I will continue to display my Joes until I'm six foot under...lol I may even take them with me...lol
Do you set yourself a budget ? Yes but do not always follow it...lol
Worst vam/gi joe/mam or 1/6 figure ? Gi joe Joe Club figures but only because I dislike the flock job on there fuzzhead figures. I like to move my Joes and take pics and sometimes they fall. I swear these figures have no glue holding the flocking down...
Views on 40th reproductions ? That is what got me re-interested into Gi joe about 2 years ago! But at a certain point I realized I had a real thirst for Vintage so I sold all my repro Joes and started buying vintage only because I guess I want to relive my childhood... The 40th reproduction Joes still have there place in Joe history to me...
Worst item of the vam/gi joe/mam or 1/6 range ? Those darn scuba wetsuits that fall apart! Do not get me wrong I love them but gee...lol
Best thing about collecting vam/gi joe/mam or 1/6 figures ? Reliving my childhood and getting to take pics of the best damm action figure this world has ever seen! Ooops got carried away...lol I also get to share my collection with others in one way or another...
Do you think your collection will be collectible in the future ? Yes gi joe is here to stay forever! Go Joe!
If you did not collect vam/gi joe/mam or 1/6 figures, what would you collect ? Maybe robots...lol
Why do you like ammo ? This is a great forum with easy going folks! I love to look at all the pics people post and hear the stories! I love the photo-contest you offer, etc. etc. etc.! Great place!

Good old class of '61 Clive! A good year for us 52'ers... I can remember the 1960's like it were yesterday and in full colour too. Who could ever forget that childhood smell of freshly cut grass whilst in skool in the spring/summertime, or when it's been hot for a while then there's a rain storm and that distinct dusty/damp smell from the playground fills your nostrils, then the sun comes back out again and the concrete playground starts steaming .

| Great interview Jim. Agree with you about the wet suits as well. Unfortunately these are my favourite sets and now have 6 of them in one form or another. Once a month I lube them with silicone lubricant it seems to work for now. | |
