I will miss Bri's calm demeanor and dry wit, as well as his impressive knowledge about vintage action figures.
Sadly, the majority of his images on the forum disappeared as a result of the photo hosting service closing down. I was exchanging messages with him recently about restoring his images, and he was planning to do so as soon as he was able to transfer the pics to a new photo host.

The obituary mentions he passed at a hospital. Does anyone know if he had an illness?
He used to post mini-comics at FHQ. I always enjoyed them. Did he post any here about Hat and No-hat? They were funny. It's been quite some time since I saw his comics about them.
He was truly a gentlemen's gentleman.

I must admit, I stunned to read this morning, Like Dave and Daryl I tried to find out more, but like so many collector friends who pass away details are always hard to come by . Brian was a great chap, funny,, intelligent, level headed and always full of encouragement. I loved all his stuff he did from his custom vehicles to his comics. He was a really talented fella. What I liked the best was the friendship we formed. He invited me to join fuzzheads to aid in falling topic posts. I did my best to try and encourage folks to post there/here. I then asked him to join the Admin team here (Ammo), fully expecting him to turn me down, but he didn't, He accepted straightaway and fast became a highly valued member of the team. Always full of ideas and encouragement for others. I shall certainly miss him. Best wishes to his family and friends at this exceptional sad time for them. He will certainly be missed by all, and especially us, his 1/6/Joe family .

Most shocking , I was really hoping that mistake had been made as I was reading through . It`s a shame that WE at least in many ways are quite a close community , and yet it`s all pretty much done behind a cloak that the internet provides us . I wonder where many people are now I used to know and chat with who have not posted on the forums for months or even years . Great shame , and still so young .

Brian was such a nice person on the forums and always praised other members posts, I very much enjoyed his custom Joe work and comic strip posts, all were very colourful with pin sharp visuals.. He will be very much missed on the forums, my thoughts are with his family

This is Sarah--Brian's wife. Thank you so much for all of the kind words and thoughts. He did have an illness, but his death was totally unexpected and sudden. He had a heart attack at home, and his son and I did CPR until the ambulance came. They were able to establish a heartbeat, and took him to the hospital.
Despite immediate heart surgery, Brian suffered another devastating heart attach on the morning of Sept. 27 in the ICU. Ben (our son) and I were with him at the end and were able to be with him. Sadly, he never recovered consciousness after the first heart attack.
So the kind words mean a great deal. It's been a shock for us and a gigantic loss.
I posted elsewhere on the forum asking if we could keep Bri's account open while I sort through what looks to me like an extensive collection. I'm hoping for a bit of guidance as I begin to sell his collection. He would want someone who was as enthusiastic about it as he was to have it.
Thank you again.

Our thoughts are with both yourself and your son, Sarah. I will gladly keep Brian's account open, and will make his account as a permanent fixture. He will be missed here.

Just found this with help of LeStryge. This is really sad, I didn't know him very well as we only interacted with each other on a few occasions and he was very nice to Me. He seemed like he was a good guy. My condolences to you and your son Sarah. May he rest in peace
