Bob " we can rebuild him boss"
Rufus " hmmm...im not so sure"
Hi everybody
I'm back...hopefully to stay this time. To keep a long story short I've been having a bit of a time of it over the last few years. The doc finally came to the same conclusion that I had ages ago...being in constant pain 24/7 was affecting my mental health too. After some trial and error we finally found some pain killers that are acceptable to my work ( we're very restricted on what meds we can take ) and that reduce my pain levels sufficiently for it to be worth my whille taking them.
The shed/workshop expansion has been put on hold due to circumstances beyond my control I'm hoping to get cracking on it soon, but instead I spent today clearing out all the rubbish and organising everything else. I can now not only get in the shed, but I can also get cracking on some projects that I've had in mind for a whille now. Above is a hint at one of my future projects.
Hopefully catch some of you on chat over the coming days/weeks.

Good to see you back Chris!
Glad you've found some better meds. VAM time is great therapy so anything that enables you to have that has got to be a step in the right direction.

Thanks. Its good to be back. My pain is caused by osteoarthritis too. I've had it for many years, but over the last year or two the pain has increased massively. The new medication seems to be doing the job

Apparently he's a Joe Cobra Commander, made for the first Joe film. I just liked the look of him. I've still got his mask and chest plate.... I've got an idea or two for them...one day

He is Chip, he's a Hasbro figure.

Quite right Chris, he is Cobra Commander from the first live action movie "G.I. Joe The rise of Cobra." I think I have posted images of this figure before, but I can't remember which thread I posted them.
In the 1/18th figure line he was a popular figure, but normally wearing a helmet or a hood over his face. The movie had him wearing a clear mask.
Other than the clear mask, the figure is not true to the film. Maybe the black jacket. But the chest plate and bladed weapon were never seen in the film.
The bladed weapon and head are Hasbro Action Man, the head being No Face in a different color. Currently I consider him my No Face figure since I don't have the MAM version.
The main difference, as far as I can tell, the head and body from the waist down are the same as the MAM No Face. Between the upper torso is a Joe Classic Collection body.
Aside from the mask and chest plate, it seems Hasbro re-purposed all of the other parts for this figure.
If anyone thinks differently or knows something I don't, please feel free to correct me. These are just my observations.
