As Dal has posted his Faithless Angels at the Newton Farm Park Concert Stage, I thought I'd post the rest of the opening night's concert. There are likely to be a lot of images and I'll post them in separate sections.
The stage was initially built with 1/6 scale in mind. However, I soon discovered that even with the enormity of the stage, I still felt it wasn't big enough. So then I tried it with 1/12 scale figures. That was a much better size.
There are five events on the grand opening evening. 1 - Quartet 2 - Final Fantasy Females 3 - Warrior Concert 4 - Native Band 5 - Faithless Angels
Coming up in the next post - Quartet.

Now, this one I can't post here... No, I am not teasing you. But I really can't. It needs a Mature Content warning... It is also NSFW (Not Safe For Work). So all I can do, is post you a link to my personal website, and it is up to you if you wish to view it or not.
5 - Faithless Angels - 1/6 - sort of. Dal provided the posed figure images, and I've Photoshopped them into the stage setting. They are 1/6, but I've made them a little smaller, so the back screens can be used. You've probably seen his versions which he has darkened a little. But here are my originals.
That stage must of taken you a good deal of time , and is one of the most imaginative things I have seen for a long time . The first pic made me feel like I was there ! All the photo editing and sorting must of taken a good deal of time too , and the photo shop skills are very good , I like how you included the shadows in some pics , and the big screens behind the band members is genius , I could go on , but it`s getting late . I am so glad you posted this here , I know you debated it . I didn`t look at the X rated stuff , sorry it`s just not me , but I am sure it was just as good as what you achieved here , good stuff well done Colin .

Actually Chip, on all the concerts other than Faithless Angles, the photoshopping was very minimal. Most of the dio (lights, lasers, smoke, posing, shadows, etc) was all done real. So most of the images are straight out of the camera. The only editing was to add the big screens at the back, that was all.
Faithless Angels needed editing, because I asked Dal to send me posed images of each band member, so I could add them to the stage digitally. Those had the shadows, and big screens added. All the lights, smoke were all part of the normal dio background image. I did have to add additional smoke digitally over the figure images, only for Faithless Angels.
Hope that makes sense, and clarifies what was edited and what wasn’t.
Pleased you liked what you saw, and it did take an enormous amount of time to create. I had seen others had done bar stages, and wanted to have a band, or several, but didn’t want to build a bar as well. So a Concert Stage seemed like the obvious solution, and gave me additional options like the raising stage platform.
The X-rated is only topless. Nothing too bad. However, I do understand it isn’t to everyone’s taste. It is only that way because I used the figures from my Red Sonja’s camp and most of them are either topless or naked. But I made sure there wasn’t any nude figures in the band. LOL. There was one character who is heavily pregnant, and she is the leader of the band, and all the song tracks are around her being pregnant, and the guy leaving her in that state.
Thanks for your kind, and positive comments Chip.

The stage, with the detailed scaffolding and the amazing lights and smoke effects, is truly impressive and astonishingly realistic!
I particularly like the quartet sequence. The piano and cello look fantastic and the whole scene is sophisticated and elegant.
Marvelous work in every detail! Superb visual storytelling.

I am just like totally blown away with all the pictures of each band you have taken. Just outstanding pictures, set up and just everything. It’s like your looking at pictures from a actual real concert.

Colin ( and Dal) , fantastic work .. these look really ... FANTASTIC.!!! .... loads of work involved ... even liked the Native women shots
The 1/12 Phicen hold up well against their 1/6th sisters
I'm thinking I need to step over the line and invest is some kind of Photoshop App thingy..
Thanks, Gunner. Pleased you like them, even the Natives. I just had to do something with the pregnant lady.
I am completely taken with the 1/12 Phicens. There could be more body types and shapes. But really they are so very "cute". There, I've used cute again.
As for Photoshop, it is a time investment just as much as a cost. Whether it is free editing software, paid, or subscription. I had Photoshop for quite sometime before the "light bulb" moment came, and then I realised it isn't really so hard to use. But it is quite a daunting software when you first start. Having multiple lockdowns allowed me to spend time figuring it all out.
