Boots updated

Well here he is ..... A further run down for the Hasbro Hoth Han Solo . I swapped out his body and replaced with a short body so the Hasbro clothes fitted , and replaced the sculpt . I am finding gauntlet or gloved hands both difficult and expensive these days , and so here I have used some old DML flexi fingered hands , these are wired inside , and if I am honest are not great , and are difficult to get to hold anything , they are however a necessity for the DID ceremonial gloves I used . The rest of the kit as you see has been revamped with realistic webbing straps , and weathered . I am quite pleased with how he turned out . Now for his Tauntaun .....

A massive difference and a great re-imagining of a familiar figure. Well done! 
Where did the brown jacket come form? 
My bloke wears a short-sleeved grey vest over a white jacket.

That is odd!
 Here's my bloke, (sorry, he was directing Santa in this shot) but you can see his jacket.
This is the figure that was sold in a boxed set and came with a Wampa Monster.
His gear is definitely marked out for some weathering, but I was curious as to how your jacket was brown.
I didn't get a fur hooded parka either.

Excellent work Chippers! he came out terrific! Those few changes have made all he difference! I quite like the hands, I think they work really well, but I'm sure you'll find a replacement somewhere down the line.
All the dry brushing has really brought Han to life. Great, great work indeed! the force is strong within you

Barry your figure is Luke , not Han , that's why your outfit is so different .Han never got to mess with the Wampa fortunately for him . Han in the Hoth gear came both with a Tauntaun and just as a stand alone figure . I hope to work on Han`s Tauntaun soon , and make a base for them too .

Now I don't feel as badly about the Frank Sinatra vs Octopus incident.

The brain is DEFINITELY ..."going", and I don't mean functioning! 

He looks great Chip! The weathering really makes him.

I'm not familiar with these figures, were they Hasbro? Or someone else?

Daryl as far as I am aware these were mostly Hasbro , but I do see some listed under Kenner , did Hasbro buy them out ? I am sorry to say the Hasbro head sculpt has been swapped out , it`s not terrible but does look to toy-ish for what I was aiming for sadly .

Yes, Hasbro bought out Kenner.

I thought it was a different head sculpt from what Hasbro made.
Hasbro's head sculpts are usually not good, as far as looking like the original
person. That's why I asked.
