21st Century Toys Ultimate Soldier Humvee.
Yes the proportions are a little off, but I'm not too bothered. This is another mint in box ebay score for a good price. Excluding shipping it was less than the original retail price from twenty years ago.
As seen above the proportions are a little off.
Though it has lovely detailing of the lights, actual translucent plastic in varying colours. My Jimny has this, but the Jimny cost much more. Considering these retailed for about $59.99 or $69.99 back in the day, this is very impressive.
The paint app is nice, quite typical of US forces I think. Perhaps active or former members or the armed forces can confirm?
The side angle isn't so bad.
However this angle looked a little funny to me.
That said, all in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase!
I might do a side by side with my old Power Team Humvee. The PT one is less detailed, has a busted wing mirror, but has four opening doors.
I probably will keep this as it is. I'm not sure what that means for it or where it will fit in my story. Especially as my story is set in a fictional American city that has woods, mountains and is still near the coast. Dealing with the lives of mostly civilians. Then again, perhaps I will make a prepper character and this can be his ride.

Sarah Humvee-tastic buy. I very much agree with Dal on just the vehicle your Zombie hunters need. Zombies won’t know what’s hit them.

The paint job is a NATO 3 colour universal pattern of green, grimy black and rust that was adopted to be standard throughout NATO in the 1980's. Even Canada used it to some extent on some of our vehicles that came fresh from the factory that way (namely our 5/4 quad CUCV's) , though our maintenance shops were never equipped to paint vehicles with these colours and anything that came back from the repair shop with new paint on it, came back green. I can't remember us having it on any other vehicle.
At one time, a certain number of US vehicles were painted this way also, though the majority in Europe were just painted green. The Brits never adopted it. Today, the French and Germans still use it, possibly some other NATO Countries. If you watch a 14th of July Parade in Paris, you will see tons of vehicles painted this way.

Zombie hunters? This is a good plan! I was considering a prepper character.

Thanks Porky! I like it, I have Even seen some civilian vehicles near where I live with this paint scheme. I don't know if I trust my vehicle painting skills.
