1:6 scale 12" Cybermen repair disassembly anyone ?

I've got a few of the 12" cybermen a couple of which have busted joints within the fabric "bodysuit" under the armour.. I'm wondering if anyone here has pulled one of these apart before ? I'd be interested to know how you got them apart and what's inside.
Naturally I could just "butcher" one but I'd like to either save or be able to rebuild if poss.

Sadly I won’t be able to help you on what to do to repair your Cybermen but I’m hoping you manage a way too.

I wouldn't have a clue porky? I have never taken one apart

They're clearly not envisaged to take to bits/repair but I'm sure I'll sort them out one way or another !
Was just worth asking in case someone had used one in a kitbash or something

Looks a tough 'un Porky. I'd start with heads hands and feet - can they be removed with  a hairdryer or something ?

It may be similar to the dynamic bod AM, you may have to break open the seams along the torso to get it apart?

You're probably going to do some damage to it too possibly, so bear in mind if it's an important figure.

Yep, I'll have to wing it a bit, the two with damaged joints don't owe me much £ so not too tragic !  The armour has screws and plugs but looks glued together at the seams too !
Naturally I was tempted to strip one and dress an AM in the gear !..

Certainly, if i rip one to bits I'll do a pic post mortem !

As an update, a Cyberman corpse is now being dissected.. the pictures and method ongoing are on my 'Porkenstein's workshop..' thread, appropriately I think, as it's one of the classified projects dealt with over at SP1...
