I’m really loving the look of your ww1 British Tommy. I’m loving the baseball with wrapped around Barbed wire around it.

Cool looking figure , and I am with Alex on the Baseball bat . He looks ready for some very close combat . Is it just me , or do Gas masks give other people the willies ?

Thanks Alex the baseball bat with barbed wire was something I borrowed from a figure called Negan from the Walking Dead TV series he named it Lucille but this afternoon my Son James and I made a couple more trench clearing tools I'll post them shortly

Okay, I’m really liking the four trench-clearing tools. They look like they could have done some damage in the German trenches.

Thanks, Alex yes they would be very menacing implements I don't think I'd be hanging about the trench with these about

Outstanding WWI kitbash!
I would never have thought to create a WWI trenches horse! That's brilliant, with the custom gas mask!
The custom barbed wire is impressive! Looks like the real deal to me!
Great weathering on the wood handles of the makeshift clubs. Again, impressively realistic.

Converting a Sindy horse into a WW1 Charger was a kitbash-tastic idea Hawkeye.

Thanks Daryl I try to work with materials I can lay my hands on, My son James is an artist who works with leather so I get plenty of offcuts as well as skill tips from him, I like to use leather as it's a great material to form, Historically the horse masks were made of canvas but mine is sort of what if

Hello Chip yes the mask is made from leather, I used that as a material I like to work with as it can be formed, I make quite a bit of kit using leather including the saddles and bridle

Would you be kind enough to P.M some tips how you work with it ? I get the impression you have to pre make the holes before you sew it ?
