To answer chip and rogue trooper questions ..
The ones I bought came in a box of 50 , I think they do 2 or 3 different colours , but I did a bit of research and
The white looked like the nearest to an explosion or fire smoke that I thought would be the best.
I found they are a bit hard to light , but I only had a lighter , maybe needed a fire starter thingy…
They only last about 30 seconds, so my advice would be get all set up and camera ready, then light pellet
I used 3 pellets to get one shot , it’s a matter of. Moving around the pellet in different places until you get the right shot , also I did this in my garage, on a small tight set , as I tried out side and the slightest bit of wind and your knackerd…
It says on the box don’t breath in the smoke .( obviously)
First attempt so will try again maybe using 2 pellets to get more smoke .
I suppose if I wasn’t secretly hiding in my shed away from prying judgemental eyes
it would be good to have someone
Io light the pellets while you photographed.
