| Thx guys, I had a VAM Sea Wolf in blue, but the Joe version in white looks so much better, I believe the FFL is VAM, haven't had a chance to check it yet, either way I'm delighted with the haul. My first Mike Powers Mark, and I think he has another. I will definitely be back

| and for the eagle eyed amongst you, the books in the shelf are the Complete set of Richmal Crompton's Just William books, all hardcover and all with dust jackets, and for the knowledgeable the rarest one of all, William the Lawless is there in very fine condition. A conservative value on all 40 books would be well upwards of five grand.

| Über Kuhl, Sir Sid! Always a treat looking at your boys.
i'm unaware of the Just William series. At first I thought it was the Hardy Boys.
I'm off to google William and Crompton | |

| Always love to see your collection SS.
I am glad this came up again... I sometimes get lost in other threads and the collection threads are always the BEST...
Thanks again

| Wow! it's getting better Sidney It would be a great idea to play some military band marching music, when visitors view your wonderful collection My grandad use to play me some of his military marching music a high volume when I was little, It was so loud, it rattled both neighbours windows, it was like an earthquake _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |

What a great idea mate. Military marching tunes are some of the finest in existence. Mine would be Killaloe, for very obvious reasons. I had the honour of being a Police Officer in my homeland, and as well as being the signature march of the RUC/PSNI it is also linked with the Irish Regiments of the British Army.
