Lovely job Brian,I hope he don`t drink that brandy before he goes after the grizzlies or he could end up with a few more scars.Very Happy

Nice shots!

This is going to sound bizarre, but after all these years I didn't make the connection to Evesham until I saw the hills.  I cycled through your neighbourhood and even pitched a tent on the Chedworth Villa site back in 1987.  I'll bet that would be impossible now.  My tent was pitched in what had been a part of the villa that suffered foundation damage due to an underground stream.  There was mention of the archeologists finding a shrine to a water sprite.  I'll have to scan my photos.

I was packing up when a man walked onto the site from the pasture side.  I thought I was in for it but he started asking questions about the Villa.  He said he grew up in the region but had only stumbled upon the site that day.  He had never heard mention of it before.

Those are some really nice shots mate it looks as though your guys are having a really great adventure up in that balloon. Love the hunter in the fields he looks as though he's very experienced and has got some stories to tell, very smart particularly with that rucksack and brandy, for some reason he makes me think of Captain Haddock from the Tin - Tin comics in some of thsoe photos Surprised

No, after Witcombe I headed into Wales. At that point in my trip I had just come out of Devon and Cornwall and I was used to hill climbing. As a matter of fact I cycled through parts of the French Alps and they were nowhere near as gruelling as the hills in Devon/Cornwall.
