| Does anyone have any tips of tightening up the joints on the blue pant model? I have a few whose legs and arms swivel willy nilly and there seems no way of tightening them up as they are out together differently to the old strung AM

| Plumbers tape works really well. As you wind it around the arm and legs joints it disappears inside the joints. Works a treat, I have done it many times. Another method is to use cotton, following the same routine. Hope this helps buddy | |

| Top Link, Can't thank you enough for this.
Am i correct in thinking that a re-strig will help with the hip joints?

| I am not anywhere even remotely as experienced as Cappy when it come to Action Man stuff, but in my (limited) experience a re-string will sort out the early figure but not a blue pants body.
That is where the ptfe tape Dall referred to and the wide elastic Cappy mentioned come into play.
I think a blue pants hips are held on with a nylon / plastic piece rather than elastic like the early ones are.
