Self Made Watchtower

I have had a bit of time on my hands so my mind wonders to dioramas, I decided to make a Watchtower based on pictures from the internet from all nationality watchtowers. Its about 36" in height ( need to measure accurate) Its made from old pieces of wood i cut down in strips at work and a bit of dowel and MDF. There are no nails or screws in this just pre-drilled holes and dowel fitted using wood glue. I made the ladder also from scratch using wood strips and dowel. There is a machine gun mounted in one picture but is hard to see so i need to take a few more. After much deliberation i decided to also go NATO green for this because i could not make my mind up to use it in a German diorama or British.

Your self Made Watchtower looks great Fonnezz, looks very well made as well. Now your vam can watch over your back garden for enemy trying to sneak in.

Blooming marvellous. If only gi joe Jap's weren't so expensive you could do an amazing Bridge Over The River Kwai. Otherwise dig some tunnels for The Great Escape Wink
