| Looks like the magic marker was added to cover up some hair rubs. I'd leave it for now. Sooner or later somebody's going to come up with a paint process for hair. Unless you have an extremely proficient technique -- and steady hand -- the hair paint won't look as good as it should.
Burnt Umber for the eyebrows. Practice on cheap 2nd hand MAM first.

| I had good luck repainting the eyebrows on my Geyperman (he is not done yet.....will post pics soon) I think I used Testor's acrylic paint, rust colour with a fine (number 1?) brush. Is Burnt Umber a standard colour or unique to one manufacturer?
Thanks,
Jon |

| A great figure! So the bodies came from the US while the scarless heads were made under license in Mexico? Looking at how ugly Ledy Joes became a bit later I think maybe they should have stuck with this headsculpt! _________________ Life moves pretty fast. That's my understanding; All the PH Lilli Ledy's I have seen all seem to have the US bodies...I think Ledy went into full independent production in the AT era. Probably similar to what happened with VAM, some of the really early ones being repackaged US or Canadian ones. Maybe they were surplus? There is not a huge amount of documentation on them. The flocked ones were strange beasts, different head sculpt and talker body...without any talking! Do I want one? Of course I do....ha ha. |

Thanks,
Jon Burnt Umber is a standard colour. Testors 4605. A lot of people prefer to use Liquitex for GI Joe touch ups, but Testors acrylic will work too.
