PostSubject: A simple Wall   A simple Wall Icon_minitimeTue Dec 04, 2012 6:01 pm

Hey guys, I thought I would share how to make a simple wall back drop, using a board and a sheet of cork.

The board I used was 14" x 14"
I then cut up the sheet cork into equal sizes, you can of course cut them any size you want to get your desired effect.
Glue the cork squares to the back board using wood glue (pva)
Leave to dry and there you have it a wall to use as a photo back drop

cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers

Mine is still waiting to be painted, I will undercoat it then paint using citidel paints

Very Happy A simple Wall Lads043

A simple Wall WhatliesBeneath

Made this wall using a thin piece of ply and giving it a 2-3mm covering of ready mix filler, then scribe the joints in using the end of a modellers paint brush, when dry I sprayed it with that stone effect paint. Laughing

Maybe do similar to ak but use a thick coat of brick coloured poster paint on the ply and still use the end of paint brush to scribe lines then when dry paint the lines like mortar and give a Real looking finish bt dry brushing 'bricks'.
