BOXED (Green) HELICOPTER PILOT 1979

Not long after the 1979 release of the Helicopter pilot we see another variation. As with all the boxes of this period if it gets reissued the side flap is the first to go but with this uniform the changes are much more. The artwork is reworked to show that this is now a green sas helicopter pilot and the sharpshooter is now added to the box to fit in with the brand new Green SAS helmet and overalls that Action man is now dressed in. This is topped off with a yellow scarf. Again evidence is emerging showing that some of these figures were released with a new style black plastic printed dog tag.

another great set !

This is my favourite out of the helicopter pilots and would look superb with my newly aquired Assault Copter.
