Brown eyes

I recently picked up another Brown eyed VAM, this time with Brown hair also noticed that I've got a Brown eyed blonde bearded one (which I will take pic of and post soon). I also have 3 other Blonde Brown eyed non bearded figures in my collection. Does anyone know how many of the Brown eyed figures were made as you don't see many of them around, and do they come in all styles.  i.e Brown beard, Brown eyed. 

Very cool jet. As far as i know the brown eyed vam are extremely rare, The brown eyes are usually only associated with joe's, so you are very lucky to have a few mate , well done indeed

The Gi joe version "Man of Action" normally the MOA with brown hair had blue eyes and
the blonde haired MOA had brown eyes...

But I suppose mistakes happen at the factories once in awhile or they just used the materials they had on hand at the time.
And so a rare Gi joe or Action Man is born...

My two "Man of Action" Gi joes with brown hair have blue eyes which is the norm...
So no rare pics here to share...

The USA painted Head Blondes Gi joes mostly have Brown Eyes So thats normal...

But when they started flocking Gi joes and the Adventure Team was born
the Brown Haired Fuzzhead "Man Of Action" figures mostly had blue eyes...

Above Jet is showing a brown haired fuzzhead with brown eyes that is not normal...

Cheers Jim thanks for letting me know, Jet's brown haired fuzz-head looks great and very unusual shade of brown, I've looked at my lists of my collection but no brown fuzzies just blue but also do have a couple of brown haired PH VAM with brown eyes I suppose these too are normal

The Brown haired "Man of Action" Gi joe usually has blue eyes as shown.
The Blonde haired fuzzhead Gi joe usually has brown eyes as shown.
The Blonde haired fuzzhead Gi joe was used a lot in the Astronaut "Spacewalk
Mystery" set in the 70's...
But you could find either one as a "Man of Action" or Astronaut...

Quite some time back a long standing Action man collector argued with me that the only brown eyed AM heads were Geyperman heads, and that no 1970 AM had them,.....well i know for absolute certainty that they did (but he wouldn't accept my story (why would he? he knew more than me!)

In very early 1970's my cousin got an AM for Christmas and we used to mock him because his AM's eyes were brown instead of blue, he was pretty pi$$ed off if i remember, and i know for sure that at that time they had not been to Spain for holidays.....so, i know for definite that Palitoy did produce some 1970 AM heads with brown eyes.

I have one blonde brown eyed head, but unfortunately someone has spiked the ear holes...i have said it before, toys should NOT be given to bloody children!!

A brown eyed head is a nice addition to any collection.

That's very intresting info. The brown eyes could have been a part of a limited test run with the very first flocked haired Action Man, then Palitoy changed their minds? They are not very common, I've got no brown eyed flockies yet. I agree with you about them being a nice addition, I would love to have one or two.

I had a brown eyed PH VAM pass through Tom K HQ last year, but he emigrated to the States. This is my immigrant Joe called Seven. He has cool dark brown eyes...

i dont think i would ever say that hasbro palitoy general mills had never done a particular thing as we all know sometimes they just used up whatever they had to hand if they were short of stock as it could come back and bite you in the arse . us 1/6th micks have to stick together eh neil

Yep! How true! But its nice to find somethng out of the norm like Jet did...

Here are a few pics of my brown eyed AM head, with excellent blonde hair and two ugly great holes in his ears!!

Is it just me or do all brown eye heads seem to have been painted whilst drunk?
