| Since Modern Action Man is, now, around 20 years old, I propose that we change the acronym MAM to mean Millennial Action Man, instead.
What say you, fellow AMMOnites? | |

| So in a couple of years when they come of age, are we gonna refer to MAM as 'vintage action man'? And have to find another meaning for VAM? _________________ | |

| He would still be MAM, but he isn't as "modern" as he used to be. It will be a while before another "millennial" Action Man vies for that title... | |

| Some sellers on eBay already describe them as Vintage. _________________ The collector formally known as Blue Pants Man | |

| Millennial Action Man? But he came out in the Nineties, so maybe it should be NAM? Or perhaps 'Moderner' Action Man, as opposed to the 'vintager' figures. _________________ | |

| I've just voted for MAM to stay MAM until all 'Modern Action Man' editions become vintage in 2026 (Action Man 1993-2006) This should stop any confusion between different editions of MAM. By 2026 we can refer to all MAM as 'VMAM' (Vintage Modern Action Man) I'll be 74 by then and still only look 30 years old (lol!) and VAM (what's left of them) will probably be on the 'Antiques Roadshow'.. MAM it is then (until 2026) _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |
