Nam Cloth covered pots and Graffiti

Here's our latest Bodge after a great bit of help from Reddragon Cheers Mate  here's our covering some old damaged helmets to make my NAM kitbash

To start with here's the basic materials a old American Helmet and a cloth sleeping bag



You'll need plenty of PVA glue and some sharp scissors and a Stanley knife or blade



when first side is dry use a sharp stanley knife and cut a straight line down the centre of helmet and remove surplus material to allow the next side material to be able to but together tightly



Try to match the seams down the middle of the pot

When dry trim what you feel you need to on inside of pot





You'll need a black elastic band to use to hold the bits of kit onto the pot, I couldn't find any black so got red bands and used a Sharpie to color them in



Here's some bits and pieces we molded to fit to the helmets



Here's my new Dragon Grunt He's called "Ace Face" and is modeling his kitbash Tiger stripe Camo



Here's Ace modeling a basic covered pot with unfinished red band



Here's the pot's up to now, I've taken the graffiti from the movies Platoon and Full Metal Jackets

Meet "Victor Charlie" Here's my new head sculpt just arrived today and the new arch enemy of the Platoon

He has a great sculpt mate!, nice job pytting him together

Get them in front of the T.V screen , it makes a great background

That's exactly how I did my pics but in front of our computer screen.
No photoshop was needed...

Yes mate ive tried this before but with not a lot of luck did you do this in front of a high definition picture

It was actually a still picture off the net saved on a disc and played through my DVD player, just stood the vam in front of the screen and that was it.  Cracking picture inntruderr61, great minds think alike

Thats deffo mate just look how he got his body after his head sculpt came over from China

Well my new head sculpt arrived from China yesterday and this unsuspecting fellow doesn't know yet that his body has been chosen  



Firstly check the head sculpt for size and the neck peg for length



This figure is made by ES TOYS Made in China



Due to the old head and new sculpt being quite hard he will need to be dunked in a pot of hot but not boiling water just to make the head more pliable before using a flat tool to prize the original head off I used my Gerber multi tool



The neck holes in the head may be smaller than the original like this one of mine, I remedied this by the use of a sharp blade to open the new head a bit
