| A lot of the foreign licencees used the same insignia on caps / berets because it was simply cheaper to go with existing moulds – its a logical assumption I made and one backed up by the Geyper Man vintage web page link photos, unless they especially decided to do something different for a more domestic version of an outfit i.e. the Action Team Border Police cap, the French Groupe Action Joe Green Beret (rubbish) paper sticker etc.... The cap badge on both GM versions of their Tank Commanders is the same as the UK one..... |

| Another good example of the above would be the Geyper Man version of the Underwater Explorer who's Blue Wetsuit has the same AMSAC (Action Man Sub Aqua Club at an educated guess) as the Palitoy Version. Interestingly though Geyper certainly did go to the trouble of changing most of the Vehicles Numberplates from AM to GM numbers. |

| Great looking 'Action figures' Beatlefan The German Stormtrooper looks proper vintage to me, the uniform looks excellent I wish I had the cash to buy some off them Geypers. I think I saw the word 'DOLL' mentioned on this boys/man's 'ACTION FIGURE' site Action Man/GI JOE is a boys/man's 'ACTION FIGURE' Action Man is not a doll! Barbie and the likes are Dolls!... Dolls are for girls/women, we are not girls _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |

| WOW, Richard they are awesome. I'm like the rest of you, I would love 9 or ten but probably more of all those. I have just seen the German Stormtrooper, I can't believe I missed that one. Noooooo!!!!!!! I would have got one and now I have spent all my cash. Hurry up christmas. Then I suppose I will have to hunt one down which may be very hard. Just checked out cotswold colls and they still have them. Guess I will be trying to find some funds for one of those. No the wait is going to kill me... Great buys Richard... | |

| Just spent ten mins going through this thread, marvellous. I only have the first two releases would have liked more but no spare cash my shopping list would be the African adventurer and surprisingly for me the tank commander, he looks great. Keep them coming _________________ Brian.

| Fantastic adventurers Brian. I missed out on the blond one and the jumpsuit guys from the 1st wave too. Passed on the AA adventurer and UN soldier as I don't like the Tom Stone headsculpt but what possessed me not to get the German Stormtrooper I'll never know! Here's my latest few.. The Tank Soldier. Thanks to my de-carding phobia he's unopened, which is a shame as I got the box for him too! (Excuse the flash..photography is not my strong point!) The MP Commando and UN Soldier. My 1st and as yet only 'Muscle body' figures. Two very nicely themed basic figures. Maybe it's an idea Palitoy shpuld have looked into as an alternative to selling just the basic soldier. I really like the UN helmet. _________________ Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. | |

| I think I'll add the MP to my "would like"list.
That Tankie looks better every time I see him.
Did the German storm trooper sell out? _________________ Brian.
