| Ian, I can't find any kind of stamp on mine, even after popping off the chassis on one of them. I think Cherilea (an English toy company) originally made these, but the jeeps were also available again in the 1990's through 'Sunny smile' another toy company (same company under a new name????). Sunny Smile also released a cheap line of 12" action figures to go with these vehicles, i think - (1990's-2001?) probably because of the popularity of Modern Action Man at the time. The figures were called 'Strike Force', one of my jeeps has a 'Strike Force' sticker, i also have some of the Strike Force figures (a bit ugly looking) they are posted on here somewhere.. Scroll down to see more close ups of the figure's articulation... https://actionmanmobileops.forumotion.co.uk/t2411-strike-force-toy-action-figures-16When those jeeps are found, 9 times out of 10 the gear sticks are missing, i still need two. To fully restore your jeep, it needs the windscreen, bonnet/hood, two clip on lamps for the windscreen, steering wheel, gear stick, silver/grey coloured machine gun/s with ammo clip, and a hook for the winch on the front of the jeep. Someone will probably correct me on the timeline of Sunny Smile and Strike Force releases. I was going by memory. _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |
