| No Name and Blonde, part of Gunners CO11 , recieve special orders to go to the Munrovian workshop. Blimey Blonde how did he get that past the Supreme Commander? No Idea NoName - but respect ! So what was in the parcel ? This !! a Marx jeep. I had this vehicle as the first AM transport for the CO11. - It was tough beast . It originally had a trailer and a Search light that sat in the trailer on a tripod. The lads never thought they would see one again. Whah haey NoName . No1 and the lads will be amazed to see this baby again.! She runs Blonde, a little dusty but she looks good. Its not exactly as I remember. I think that the windshield is not from the same vehicle. My original Jeep was made of a darker plastic. Maybe this is a later model by Marx. Here is what is under the hood. I don't remember mine having a spare wheel on the bonnet. Here are some more shots Having done a quick test in the Garage, the boys take her for a spin in the garden They have to remember they are in an active area so head for a laying Up point. Reversing in The old drills start flooding back Lets get back to base NoName and show her to the rest of the CO11 !! So with the Jeep, my main childhood replacements are almost complete. I did have a Personnel carrier but I was never as keen on it as the Jeep and trailer . So the trailer comes next Thanks for looking | |

| Very Nice! The Marx version is a great alternative to the Palitoy one for us vintage guys who remember the 60's! Never had a jeep myself as a kid although one of my cousins had the VAM Landrover in the 70's. A very useful vehicle and a great addition to the Munrovian forces. - Gunner Munro wrote:

...won't the supreme commander be pleased! - Gunner Munro wrote:

You are no longer my friend and no longer my fellow DJ...Good bye forever!! What d'ya mean you were never keen on the greatest VAM vehicle ever?? https://actionmanmobileops.forumotion.co.uk/t6965-percy-the-mine-sweeper?highlight=percy_________________ Life moves pretty fast. | Fantastic stuff Steve!, I am a huge fan of jeeps too!, and the Marx is one of the best!, I did have a tiger strip version but I swapped it with Beatlefan as he had one as a kid and wanted another. (there is a pic of it in the Green Beret thread) , and I had just landed a GI Joe jeep! I love the photos of the boys out and about in the garden!, looking forward to seeing the trailer too! Great upload Steve! | |

| 1st thing i like blondie's side cap . i never had a jeep as a kid i had an irwin armoured car that i loved it could go anywhere , but i have a few jeeps now they are great for adding gear to like an lrdg patrol . glad to see blondie hasnt gotten rusty and can still drive . surprised it still has the mailed fist and other decals in such a good condition . as for the windscreen and spare wheel on the bonnet maybe the memory is playing tricks on you after all these years . all in all a good pick up to the collection and good luck searching for the trailer _________________ cheers jim
