Custom Action Man "Green Beret Last Defense Post"

I had planned a killer outdoor shoot for when I got back from school today, but it was cold and rainy, and I'm far too lazy to "weather the storm" so to speak, so I did this instead.

Action Man didn't have a Green Beret set in Camo fatigues, and since it's a fan favorite, I thought I'd bash one out that wouldn't be out of place in the 67 or 68 line up. And I've included the recipe(sort of), so those of you playing at home can follow along.

I'm still undecided about whether or not to make it a "Store Exclusive" like ours was...

This outpost, where the Action Man American Green Beret is stationed, is the last line of defense between headquarters, and the enemy. Defend with all your might using the working mortar! Or Working Bazooka! When enemy troops get too close, use the M-60, grenades, or the Flamethower. When you see enemy positions, radio back to HQ to get the heavy artillery down on them. All exciting missions in this Action Man set!

The corrugated cardboard boxed set contains your Action Man dressed like this :


Also inside, a complete Infantry Support Weapons window box, and a Bazooka card, and a flamethrower card. In addition, a special card available only in this set:

Containing an M-16; Field Telegraph set; Map and case; Binoculars; Canteen and cover; and obligatory bag'o grenades (6). (I made the card on my computer, with the logo and wood grain from the internet, pretty nice right?) Here is the blank card:

Made an AY original back. I have yet to see the real card back.
