Reason for 100% Vintage Section

A while back we were asked for a separate section for 100% vintage collections. So for folks to show off their Vintage collections this is where to post. It should help with members looking to complete vintage sets. Enjoy!

Can I offer the services of the Slackademy Zargoniere Unit to police this thread! Obviously they're not wholly original... but the Police can't Police themselves... you've got to bring in independent security for this sort of thread!

Hey, I'm working on getting Georgie finished for this section, but he has repro hands, and I'm getting him reflocked, does that void him out?

As long as the basic figure is vintage and his uniform, I see no problem in him being in here?

Not at all Ian, there's no vintage master race round these parts..

Luckily I've never had to have any of my original AM's reflocked, I've been very choosy about what comes into my HQ.

i know i'm in a minority of 1 here but i'm a black and white kinda guy , but either something is 100% vintage or it isnt , so why not delete the 100% Vintage bit from the thread title and make it 90% or more Vintage thread instead at least we are staying true to the title

The 100% vam section was set up for folks who only use vintage uni's, figures and accessories, i.e, no 40 or 50th replacement parts.
If you suddenly start questioning the use of replacement hands (that come from a very similar if not the same mold) or a re flock, which using the same method as Palitoy you would end up opening a huge can of worms. For example, if a vintage 1864 figure is re-strung is he no longer vintage because the elastic is brand new?

You should try upgrading to colour, I upgraded to colour in late 69 and haven't looked back
