Sailor by Richardstein .

I had this idea for some unique artwork, the idea was to get an image of action man in the style of
Roy Lichtenstein. My sons girlfriend is at uni and offered to try and create an image from one of
my photographs using photoshop, the idea was to then paint it onto canvas. The image she created is
excellent so i had it printed 30cm x 40cms at a cost of £8.00. It saved me a lot of time and trouble
not having to paint it and looks great framed up. In my opinion it's a great way to display your
pictures plus you have something unique. I will get a green beret and canadian mountie done at some
point or perhaps four different pictures on the same print. Hope you all like it as much as myself.
Hanging it my living room is going to be my next mission, impossible me thinks lmao.

that's cool... she did a great job.. do more of those and she's got a business... especially if she does a painted head classic.... first issue mountaineer or something!!

Combining VAM and Pop art, two great icons of an era is a brilliant idea and it's been executed really well too! I'm sure once you explain all this to Mrs Reddagon she'll not hesitate to let you hang it in the living room!

It's very impressive RD & a clever idea to boot. The living room idea isn't so clever though unless you wait till her eyesight fades back & then tell her it's Gareth Edwards on his stag night.

Cheers SKJ, it did not get hung in the living room sadly as the F.P.O said no . Number three son is moving out soon so i have a great spot for it in the spare bedroom, a big lock from B&Q for the door and job done
