Hope we're going to see a lot more of these guys out on manoeuvres Thanks james! very kid indeed The hat is BBI I think?, but brownboots will know he sent it to me. Its a god job the gunner is a PH, as it will not fit a fuzzy! . I was hoping to get these guys out into some woodland by where I live, but iy is taking a long time to trackdown all the pieces I need, and you wouldn't believe how much some of these parts are! It surprised me mate. If I do get them finished sometime soon, I am hoping to get some done in the next few weeks, if not it will have to be next summer

Thanks Ralph! . Each one still needs a few small parts to finish them off, and there are still two more to come. Watch this space

| Twp more great troopers for your squad. woodland camo that came out in 1981 and a drop holster? I don't care if it's artistic license or a time machine, I think he makes a great 'Nam grunt! _________________ Life moves pretty fast. | Dal I'm here ! This is an outstanding thread throughout, but I'm here more so for the Grunts. Well, firstly they are all very well thought through & very impressively turned out. The peach though (not because he's a PH!) does help though. Is the heavy gunner. He is a diamond among zirconia. Loved seeing these & believe this or not, but yes Steve & Dan too. I still have two grunts here with me. The Sarge is led down right now, but still active service none the less. Brilliant work Dal, it's one of those themes that so much work could be done with. I so hope you get these the surroundings they truly deserve. ****** LOVE that gunner!!!!!!!!!! _________________ Play nicely ! | |

Many thanks Ade!, the Nam guys have something I have thought about for so long ever since you did yours!, but never got started on, and I am hoping to get and about at some point into the woods by me for some outdoor shots , Tho, I am still trying to finish the last one. I never realized when I started them, just how expensive the parts would be! But I think they have been well worth it. The heavy gunner seems to be everyone's fav! maybe its because he is a PH?? who knows eh?, I had to change his hands tho, as he would hold the gun! Your words mean a great deal to me my friend, as like so many others you were always a huge inspiration to me

| Partly it's the PH Dal, but for me mostly. It's presentation!..........He looks like he belongs there. Carrying the gun as he is, that stance. It just signifies for me the Vietnam war/theme to a nutshell. Also, I LOOOOVE the bloody hat! Said my piece. Lots to see ole chap. _________________ Play nicely ! | |

| nice group of LRRP's you got one needs a Radio though and more canteen's
with LRRPs you can get away without using flak vests they just added weight 15 lbs or so and the helmet was another 10 lbs now you just need some claymores to set up a security perimeter if needed
