They had a good selection on the shelf at Gloucester store. The basic soldiers are behind the footballers
The price was as advertised at £49.99. Interesting  bounce

Bit nervous about opening him up and seeing what the figure is like, please let it be good!

Brian are you still of this world??? Does the Barbie red lipstick still remain? And can you hear a ticking sound coming from the box?

They look enticing on the shelves, it's the uniforms that are the best thing about those 50ths. Was the Bobby Moore AM there?

No the Bobby Moore figure was not present in the Gloucester store.

I've taken him out of the box! The uniform looks superb and the only downside is the pinched face (but we new about that!)
The figure feels better than my first one and stands up well and poses ok. I haven't looked in his trousers at his balls yet!!!

Warning, clivvers Stereo 50th rant, Geypers Revenge :

Just a private joke about the 50ths quality Brian and aimed at Art And Science, hopefully the 50th figures won't start breaking down after a set time period. They look pretty ok but the pinched head sculpt is a let down for me, there should have been a painthead with hard hands to start with (Masterpiece painthead & Timeless head sculpt with flock) then the flood gates will definitely open, the demand would be sky high and we wouldn' be able to get enough of them (hint hint.. Art And Science)  Wink At the moment it's a bit of a mix up/cobble up, the uniforms are the thing that does it for me right now, they are top notch (10/10) hurry up with those carded uniform sets please...

The toyish Bobby Moore AM is on my would like to own list, because it has a unique, and kind of classic 1970's/80's knock off style headsculpt. These little alterations/improvements I mentioned above to the 50th figures might just get me back into Action Man vam style again, but not like it was for me back in 2009, because I don't have paypals or the likes, I deal with hard cash and handshakes over a cup of rosie.

Now to handle this one feels much better than my first which was sent back. I think his elastic is not as tight. However today he dropped his pants for inspection, oh dear...

This is the last 50th figure I will be buying. The fit is appalling!  I really hope they release the uniform cards.

I have fixed the pinched Face look though........

sadly yes. This is my last 50th figure purchase, I may still swop him out and sell the nude figure and box on the Ebay.
Hopefully they will do some uniform cards in the future as they are superb. IMO bounce

My answer is to use slightly squashed oval shaped balls (ouch, sounds painfull!) Or use more rounded leg top/thighs.
They got to get the figure right, why not just release a Timeless Joe instead, then we would go crazy for them.

Definitely the carded uniforms and equipment will do it for me, but I still would like to get a Bobby Moore footballer figure, even though there's the slight leg/hip ball anomaly.

I've kept the uniform but donated the nude 50th to Max, let's see how he gets on at the front line of play
