- Excellent new figure and extra EE head, Jim, well done Ade!!!
The EE heads are still pretty rare over on this side of the Atlantic. I don't think G. I. Joe made as many as Palitoy. Most of the EE's in my collection have been VAM figures that were purchased from the UK. I really wanted some EE heads, but couldn't find any from other collectors or on ebay. Then I discovered Action Burt selling EE heads on ebayUK complete with new flock jobs. It was a great deal. I got the EE heads and they were already reflocked.
I just remembered another problem with the EE figures over here, the muscle bodies they used had inferior elastic and all of them degraded and fell to pieces in a short time.
Really like the tan turtleneck sweater from Cots, Jim, I don't think I've seen it before. Also the AT jumpsuit. It looks tan in the pics. I don't remember a tan jumpsuit either, just the grey one
Well done all around!!!
The VAM hybrid is a nice figure; best of both worlds. I have two of them: The main issue with the Hasbro MB body is that while they look more realistic, they don't work as well. I have two of them, and even though they've been restrung, they require stands. The EE variant is definitely more rare; both mine have standard Sea Adventurer heads My VAM and Geyperman MB on the other hand can stand freely. VAM and Geyperman MB don't require stands: -Nate

| Jim I am so very pleased on many levels regarding this new addition of yours. He looks so at home with your troops & beautifully presented throughout. I hope he made your day like you've now made mine by seeing him there with you. Thanks kindly for the time taken to do these great uploads. He is rightfully with a deserving winner & I'd not change that one bit! This hobby needs moments of happiness to keep us all grounded & on a level playing field. This thread has given me the happiness I sought by gifting the figure. He's right where he should be! _________________ Play nicely ! | |

Thank You Ghostrecon! So much appreciated! Since I'm putting weapons in & out of his hands taking pics & posing him for long periods with a weapon in his hands I decided to put Cotswold KFG hands on him for now... Would not want to damage the original hands... Cotswold hands are stiff & not near as good as the orginals... Any suggestions or tips for keeping the original hands soft??? Thanks! | Only advice I can think of Jim is simply warm places. Not somewhere like cold or damp as that can effect them. _________________ Play nicely !
