I sorry Vince you have me at a bit of a loss?, the sections are in place for people to post their collections. However, some members do not wish to post their collections separately, it is one of the reasons why the 100% vintage was created. So any collection that is original can be viewed there in all its glory cheers .

I think you will find that vam and MAM are just as popular as each other these days, we celebrate all kinds of 12" action figures here  cheers

Facebook is the place where most vamsters like to spend their time these days, it's sad that forums across the whole board are taking a hit because of this.

peace Smile

I have stopped buying in Vince so I have nothing to upload really for me personally. I kind of stopped when the market seemed to get so erratic. I'm not quite sure if things will settle, but it's quite the struggle to complete sets now that much I know.

This thread has actually made me stop and think.

Apart from very early on in my collecting when I only had a couple of figures I usually post mixed figure pictures.

So later I'm going to try to post one of just my AM.

My vintage fellas out on night manoeuvres.

The weapons are as vintage as I've got..but the uniforms aren't as I don't do WW2 .

Hope you like them as it took me ages to get the buggers to all stand up lol!

Please don't shoot the messenger but, I think Vince means vintage figures wearing vintage items. I'm sure he'll correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I took by what was wrote here? It does seem that the AM side with vintage uploads has gone very quiet of late whereas all others have picked up. I myself am quite guilty of this by uploading 1/6 at the moment. I have though reached the very end of where I want to be vintage wise. So for me personally, I have nothing new to upload.
The MAM market here has it's place & those uploads have increased as it would appear, but to me I think they seem more so because the likes of Alex, Clive, Steve & Chris carry what a lot of us are lacking right now......Passion to commit. I don't mean this in a harsh way by any means as I know everyone has busy lives & or other commitments. I merely mean that none of us AM collectors seem to be finding the time or the drive right now to balance the forum out again.

With this said, Nice uploads Chris.

Very interesting points Ade and so true. I try to encourage others to post as much as I can through answering their posts, but sometimes I miss things.. I'm still waiting for facebook to go under, then this place will be packed to the rafters like it used to be and forums will be king again.

It looks like Chris's AM team are guarding railway property from Intruders, the short hairy plastic ones. Nice showing Chris. cheers

You've hit the nail on the head Ade. Speaking to a few of the guys at AM Day it seems that some members are finding it hard to get the time to load any pics, especially when the photo hosting sites are playing up!

Hiya 1962boy,

I got some of my VAM out into the garden for you . The guy is a favourite. He has a late issue smock and webbing. I'm not sure about his combats.

VINTAGE AM ADD1D78B-FB25-4F35-8CB5-C7F631C41A15_zps3w1ltcep

VINTAGE AM 8181AA91-C3A6-454A-BFDD-E0ACC7C8D0CE_zpsclbmfqo9

A shot of his 58 webbing
VINTAGE AM A416DD61-52F1-4253-863C-149312548EB5_zpsbmp5nfmt

Here is a favourite "basic soldier" with a Munrovian Para, Cpl Fraser.Fraser wears a mid issue Smock and an Artic Marine cap. I'm on the hunt for a scarf and a set of 58 webbing to complete his look . He has again a late issue smock believe
VINTAGE AM 5A0C15BF-23E3-4628-9ED3-A2C0338277FB_zps1llqavod

This has to be my favourite Basic Soldier set up- I like the late issue set with Cammo combats - but this says Classic Action man to me. Smile
VINTAGE AM 1F583AA0-49D3-4C8E-9291-EC160299E737_zps7fbfmtck

This is Cpl McCloud another of the Munrovian Training team - again he needs a scarf and the M1 Gerand belt ammo pouches for he is belt order. I will get around to ordering some of the Tony Barton Cap badges as well  Rolling Eyes

VINTAGE AM 01073DDB-BCAA-4F17-B578-288789D80EAA_zps74vlxhgo

I'm not a collector as such and have a few "almost complete sets " - As you will see from my collection thread , I'm building a VAM/MAM "army" wrapped up in a  story of the Munrovian's Vs their Evil neighbours  the Dragonian's.

Steve aka SomeKindaJoe inspired me to think about the Uniformity process. i.e. collecting squads of uniformed VAM - just because as a kid I never seemed to get more than a couple of uni's the same .

Here is a result of that megalomania !!

VINTAGE AM 9621F8D8-4C4B-4FE9-8ACB-EAF2E6EB5639_zpsbpyxganz

Finally my most valuable set - the Missile Assault set !!

VINTAGE AM 11D1A6B6-6FE7-46E7-910D-B52813377886_zpsgbz0bggz

VINTAGE AM 65A5BD52-195B-4BCF-A6F6-1552BF39DAE8_zpslsd7d06c

VINTAGE AM 34F5455B-DAF3-4BF2-A275-C2ACBB5EA6E0_zpsa8ewnw1m

The only thing missing is the rubber hood, some stickers  and an ammo pouch.

So here is a nice mix for you all VAM . Some Authentic sets . Some pure "fantasy" - i.e. using other 1/6th Uniform sources - hope you enjoy. cheers  cheers

It's interesting to see the para later issue camo jacket up close, straight away I noticed the difference to the early issued one, it's the non elasticated camo cuffs on the later version. Nice photos again Gunner. Cool

I'm sure I have some photos of one of mine somewhere on my black box, I'll try find them again, a joke was made about the vam propping up some garden decking lol.
