Loving the beer mugs and bottles.. hopefully its not as potent as Atomic Ale! or they may need a recovery before their next mission
If they drinking Atomic Ale..., it will end up in a punch up!

Yes, it is undoubtedly a great pic with loads of pub-like manly atmosphere, (I can almost here the chatter) but for me clincher is the way you have taken what is basically the exact same face, and yet have managed to give each one a unique look and personality all its own. Now that's an achievement!

Thanks! You know, I think there's a surprising amount of variation between the heads produced by Palitoy in different years. I love collecting Action Man for that very reason. None of mine look exactly the same, and when you add in a few different flocks, they start to look like very different individuals!

I'm not sure if it's entirely due to the flock or those subtle variations in the different years that you mention, but just looking at your pub photo again, all the mouths seem to have different expressions. Some are on the verge of smiling, others more serious. The pic brings this out quite clearly. For example, compare the grey bloke at the back holding his pipe to the feller front and centre with the stubbie of beer. He's definitely older and appears to be frowning, perhaps in disagreement with something, whilst the younger one is about to break into a broad grin.
You have managed to define real characters, each with a marked individuality of his own. That my Friend, is a fantastic achievement in any modeller's estimation, considering the fact that you started with a group of essentially the same unit!

Amazing sense of "place" in this pic! The sensation is almost physical, like actually being there.
Did you repaint the eyes or touch them up in post-production? I notice a tiny highlight in every eye that brings the expressions to life.
