Another great shot, I take it the smoke and flash from the gun are from an app. Too clever for me
Thanks, Jet! The smoke and flashes are just random images taken from Google images and layered onto the original image in Photoshop. Quite simple once you get used to it.

I took a portrait of my adventurer, George. Being an average hard man from the early 1970s, he's a smoker. The cigarette is just a short piece of spaghetti painted with Tamiya enamels, and the smoke is just an image layered over the original photo in photoshop. This was taken with a vintage Minolta 50mm prime lens mounted to my modern Sony mirrorless camera. A lovely old lens for a photo of a lovely old Action Man!

That pic of George is great! And I never would have guessed you used spaghetti for a cigarette...That's a novel idea!

Reminds me of a couple pics I took of Rodge.
Rodge is a Drinker and a Heavy Smoker. Not the other way around, however, some of you were concerned.

Photoshopped images really add a new dimension to VAM pics!

They really do, don't they SKJ? As BlondeActionMan mentioned recently, they are one of the few ways that us older blokes can "play" with our old VAM. I'm really enjoying bringing them back to life!
