| Well, I ordered my first Action Man today. Action Yankee pointed out in a different forum that the box and Polar Expedition outfit don't go together but I don't care, gotta start somewhere, right? ...I do appreciate that kind of information tho! So thanks to Action Yankee and all the others who share their knowledge. The figure should arrive in about a week so the Joes can finally meet one of their English cousins! |

| Welcome to the world of Action Man Razz, don't forget there's no set rules as to how you dress your figures. I kitmixed back when I was a kid, it's still the main activity of the hobby these days with many of us _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |

| Welcome! Yes, it doesn't matter if it's a bit mixed up – so long as it's vintage Action Man, it's cool! | |

| Well, we'll see what happens...I sent the seller an email because I noticed something...I told him/her that I still want the figure but how the hell is it "new in box" when the box clearly states "with gripping hands" and the figure clearly DOES NOT have gripping hands? His response? My auction states to view the pictures before buying...My response? I still want the figure BUT WTF does your "disclaimer" have to do with a description that is very much BS? I ask you, how can somebody be so blatantly stupid? Again, I still want the figure, I knew it wasn't "new in box", I have no problem with that but some people's level of denial (or is it stupidity?) is amazing...anyway, I'm done ranting...back to our regularly scheduled forum... |

| Some people will throw any words that are marginally applicable in the description/auction title.
i.e. "21st Century GI Joe Hasbro 1/6 Ultimate Soldier Military doll toy MIB."
When the figure is a THE CORPS! That is not in the box (there is no box at all). | |

| There's an old Northern English saying.. 'There's nowt as strange as folk'. It's always worth baring in mind when dealing with people on Ebay! After all this I hope you enjoy your 1st VAM...I bet he won't be your last! _________________ Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. | |

| I see misleading ebay ads all the time....
Like a magic 8 ball that was advertised as being from the 1960's..lol It was a 1990's one...lol
I could go on & on.. _________________ JIM...

| Well, I understand eBay and how some sellers are, but to be in complete denial of something when their own pictures prove otherwise just amazes me... Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting my first Action Man... |

| Unfortunately there are a few flea ridden sellers on fleabay, don't always take their word for it. clivvers @ Thanks Everyone For All Your Support 2018. _________________ clivvers - saviour of the huMAM race @ MAMageddon 2009 - 2099 @ clivvers MAM Nation: | |

| Hey nice start Razz! He looks pretty good. Wouldn't worry 'bout the box being different either, boxes are a bonus as long as you don't pay too much. 'New in Box' is an oft used, very suspect term amongst certain types of seller, but if the price is nice and it looks good and you want it then it's a nice deal. Now you can get the Adventurer kit to match with it and complete your second Action Man. _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

| Thanks DN! Yea, I suspect this won't be my only Action Man...But Dal is my first Action Man...And he's blonde...hmmmm. Blonde Action Man? Why does that sound familiar?...Anyway, my Joes are happy to meet their English cousin and are showing him around the "still being built" HQ...And yes, I'm taking pics for a possible HQ build thread... |

| Nice addition, not technically a VAM looks like a 40th , not as that matters though. The 40th are a bit cheaper made compared to vintage. Sorry to be picky but just letting you know what you've got. Cheers James | |
